The IWC Pilot’s watches replica were always amazing tool watches. At some point, like many other brands, IWC decided to bring more variation to the game: enter the IWC Pilot’s Watch Automatic Spitfire replica.
It’s clearly the year of the Spitfire over in Schaffhausen, Presented by IWC at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH 2019) in Geneva, all the new Spitfire models replica in the Pilot’s Watches collection feature IWC-manufactured calibres. The design is inspired by the puristic instrument design of the Mark 11.
The case back also shows the fine quality of finishing and the differences between the surfaces. The 39mm case diameter and the modest size of the crown make it a comfortable watch on the wrist. The water resistant to 60 metres / 200 feet.

Model Design
The IWC Pilot’s Spitfire Men's watch replica, is available with two different designs: stainless steel case with black dial, rhodium-plated hands and green textile strap (ref. IW326801) or bronze case with olive green dial, gold-plated hands, and brown calf leather strap (ref. IW326802). Dials are protected by arched-edge sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating on both sides and secured against displacement by drops in air pressure.
39mm Case
The finishing on the case of the IWC Pilot’s Watch Automatic Spitfire replica, or basically about any IWC watch replica out there, is pretty good. The satin-brushed parts are nicely done and the facets on the lugs are polished. The Spitfire also found its way on the case back, as you can see below. No view on the in-house movement, but a nicely engraved Spitfire. Caliber 32110 Movement
Both are powered by the robust and reliable IWC-manufactured calibre 32110, integrated into the IWC pilot's watches (IW326801/IW326802) replica for the first time. Its pawl-winding system winds up on both sides and boasts a power reserve of 72 hours. It beats at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vph). An inner cage made from soft iron protects the movement against magnetic fields. The Sellita sure isn’t a bad movement, but I dare to say I prefer an in-house IWC movement for this small difference. The IWC caliber 32110 has a power reserve of 72 hours over the 42 hours of the Sellita based caliber for example.
